Before It’s Too Late (2019-2020)

Between 2019 and 2020, Judy Chicago created Before It’s Too Late, a series of six portraits of animals that are becoming increasingly endangered in the Rio Grande Valley of New Mexico. These tender drawings and paintings give recognition to creatures from Chicago’s local environment.
